This was my first time visiting the Westside VW show after hearing some great feedback from friends who have been in the past. Despite the name, it’s not only Volkswagen’s on show, the whole VAG scene is displayed alongside some amazing Mercedes, BMW’, Porsche’s & even the odd Jap car.
The event is held towards the end of show season around the end of September, so just in time to make the most of some nice weather in the UK before Winter creeps in.
The show is held outdoors at the Chalfont St Peters Cricket Club in the South West London region, which makes it almost local for us which makes a change from heading to the Midlands!

One good boy!
Another great factor about the Westside VW show is the fact they allow pets onsite, as long as you are responsible! Even better if your best friend is a poser like above.

There were some great retro Mercedes on show throughout the day, the long wheel base was boss!
I have previously shot Scott’s Corrado for SoScene magazine and it’s nice to see it in great condition still at shows. – Insta – @Scotty_C72
There is something about practical modifed cars that I just love!
Polished BBS splits are a thing of beatuy when kept in ultimate condition, take note.
MK4 Golfs are wearing thin these days, so it’s great to see some kept to such a high standard. Less is more on a MK4 golf and this shows why.

I previously shot Am’s E70 X5, it’s nice to see at shows sitting on 22″ BBS cast alloys. This car is also for sale! – Insta – @BladeIce
Beckwith’s MK3 golf is one of few that I actually like! I think you can see why. Hopefully it is back on the road soon! – Insta – @DannyB2812

Probably my favourite car of the show, my dude Haps, the trophy collector’s Golf 7R. The interior work carried out by Lavish is next level! – Insta – @Hapsss
I can only apologise how late these photos are along with the small write up, but I can highly recommend this show, especially if you are nearby to London.
This years show date is 29th September 2019. For more info please check out http://www.westside.org.uk/
