This has to of been my 4 or 5th visit to Players Classic held at the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit based in Chichester. Some how the guys at Players always manage to pick a date with amazing weather. With the UK heatwave in full effect we were in for a scorching hot day.
This year the event was split in to two days over the weekend, the Saturday being mainly focused on track time while the Sunday was focused on show cars. I headed down with the camera on the Sunday and oh wasn’t there some beautiful cars on show.
Can always count on a VW camper van being on show in the UK.

The heat was picking up to 30+ degrees, luckily players had visitors covered with free Monster Energy drinks. This helped while people sat around watching the England World Cup game against Panama.
Excuse the beautiful Ferrari in the way.

Sometimes you just need a dash of VIP added to your lifestyle.
The guys from players really do bring a great variety of cars to display from retro VAG’s to classic Opel’s.

This Porsche 911 / 964 was one of my favourites of the show. This car just defines automotive perfection for me.
The colour of Lance’s VW Polo Breadvan was unreal in the full sunlight. Insta – @Lance.365
Lucy’s BMW E21 sat gracefully & understated in the trading area. Insta – @LucyBarlow1994
Jorge’s peach Honda Civic EG has certainly been a trendsetter. The colour looks even better in person. Insta – @Jxrgey_
The black paintwork on this S14 was impeccable. Black paint can be so rewarding when taken care of! Take note guys and girls.
Glad I finally got to see Alex’s JZX100 chaser in person. What a machine. Insta – @Alex_JZX100
Joe’s Fiesta seems to be running far more stretch each time I see it. Insta – @JoeJanny
Must be nice to wake up on show day and have to decide whether to bring your Honda or your S15 to display. Insta – @Looooony
Who said Volvo’s can’t be cool? Obviously no one ever!
If there is ever a guy to really prep his car in detail for the next show, it’s Chris. This car is always in the bodyshop having imperfections sorted but boy is it worth it. Insta – @Christopherrw
During half time of the England vs Panama game, I tried to get a few photos and really show of the width of this RWB. Literally insane.
Alan’s Audi S3 rocking a set of RAD48 LR2.0 with a humongous brake set up and the cleanest engine bay I have ever seen. Insta – @AlanEdwards
Some people just have a natural eye & skill for car builds, fortunately for Amar, he is one of those guys. Insta – @Amarrrrr
I have a major soft spot for Audi A4 B5’s, especially when paired with a set of Fifteen52 Tarmacs. Insta – @LowAnSlow
Micheal Evans’ Lexus LS430 is in a complete league of it’s own and requires it’s own shoot and write up to go in to detail. Watch this space. Insta – @V8Fag
Carlos’ E36 build is timeless. Insta – @Carlos_G88
Mercedes 190E soaking up the sun rays gleaming away.
I think I first started following Scott’s E36 touring build in the early days on Pistonheads. The amount of ‘behind the scenes’ work that has gone in to this car and rare part sourcing is unreal. Far more than the typical lowering and wheels. The fact that the car is static and the bodywork is so clean amazes me. Insta – @ScottPatersonPhoto
This really comes down to less is more for me once again. Simplicity really pays off. It also helps when your boyfriend is Mr Wheel Unique and he can build you a killer set of OZ Futuras. Insta – @MoniqueAdele_
I really missed out by not attending on the Saturday to watch the track time, but nonetheless Players Classic show is still a brilliant all rounder, it brings out some of the best cars in the country and the rest of Europe. You can even get sunburnt in the mean time with the killer weather they always pull out the bag. Oh and of course being such a popular show you get to spend the day with a great bunch of friends from all over the country.
